About
Why Vivestay exists
Guest registration is the least glamorous part of hosting — and one of the few parts backed by law. We build software that treats it with the seriousness it deserves and the lightness your day needs.
Vivestay started where most honest software starts: with someone who had to do the work. Our first operator is a real short-term rental business — MSM Rentals — whose day-to-day guest registration shaped every workflow in the product. Not as a design exercise: as the actual routine of hosting real guests under real rules.
That origin shows. Vivestay does not try to be a property-management system, a channel manager or a messaging hub — good tools for those exist, and Vivestay connects to them instead. It does one legally critical thing properly: collecting the traveller data the law requires, validating it, managing the report, and keeping the record straight.
The product is developed and operated by a small European software team — Cloudsource LTD, registered in Cyprus — working first with short-term rental operators in Spain, the jurisdiction Vivestay supports today, with Cyprus intended next. It is an independent platform: not tied to any booking channel, property type or operator, and built API-first so it fits into your stack rather than replacing it.
Principles
What we hold ourselves to
-
Honesty about status
The product always shows the true state of every registration and report — collected, validated, reported, acknowledged. No ambiguity, no surprises.
-
Privacy by design
Only legally required data, strict per-organization isolation, statutory retention, then scheduled anonymisation and deletion.
-
API-first, integration-friendly
Registrations can be created and followed through the Partner API, with signed webhooks when guests complete — so Vivestay fits into your stack instead of replacing it.
-
Built with operators, not at them
Customers shape the roadmap. If a feature does not survive contact with a real changeover day, it does not ship.
